ERASMUSCENTRO is the first regional Erasmus consortium created in Portugal, geographically covering the center of Portugal.

The consortium ERASMUSCENTRO provides placements to students in European countries of the

Polytechnic of Coimbra, Castelo Branco, Guarda, Leiria and Viseu Portalegre and Santarém, which, together, represent about 46,000 students.

From the coast to the border with Spain, ERASMUSCENTRO established itself as a vast regional network involving the Polytechnics, the Centre Corporate Council (SCC / ICC), comprising 41 business associations (representing about 40,000 companies), the main Municipalities in the region, business associations, companies and other relevant entities of the zone of influence of the Consortium.

Through the 117 partner business entities, the Consortium also provides placements to Erasmus students from European countries who wish to do this kind of mobility in Portugal.

Providing Erasmus Placements abroad (outgoing) and in Portugal (incoming) the ERASMUSCENTRO

consortium contributes to strengthen the link between the polytechnic and the labour market. The size of the regional network leads to the Consortium's assertion on a European scale.
